The heritage culture is the visible signs of the way of life of previous generations left on the landscape. Heritage sites in the forest include: cairns, graves, stone walls, ruins and foundations of buildings, historic cross-trees, ditches, forest bunkers.

Description of the action

Avoid damaging cultural heritage sites or objects. Clean branches, tops, and understory from trenches, sacrificial stones, and stone fences after logging. Do not drive forestry machinery over burial mounds or ancient graves. Preserve historical cross trees.

Why?

Damaging cultural heritage sites and historical landmarks is neither ethical nor aesthetically acceptable.
