Clear-cutting

In order to maintain biodiversity, forest microstructures (e.g. large boulders, rock gardens, bogs, springs) are maintained during forest management.

Description of the action

Don’t leave felled undergrowth, branches or tops on top of large rocks, boulders and stone fences. Avoid moving large stones and damaging vegetation on them as much as possible.

Why?

Special but fragile habitats have formed on the rocky surfaces. If possible, they should be avoided. In addition, leaving undergrowth, twigs and tops on them is not aesthetically pleasing.
