Biological techniques and tools should be preferred to prevent forest damage and to control its spread. The use of non-biological plant protection products on forest land is only allowed in justified cases.

Description of the action

Avoid using glyphosate-containing herbicides (e.g., Roundup®, Ranger, Glyphos, Glyphomax, Rodeo, Shyfo, Taifun) during soil preparation.

Why?

Glyphosate is a hazardous synthetic pesticide with harmful and long-lasting environmental effects. It negatively impacts many insect species, such as bumblebees.
