Biological techniques and tools should be preferred to prevent forest damage and to control its spread. The use of non-biological plant protection products on forest land is only allowed in justified cases.

Description of the action

When preparing the soil, do not use plant protection products containing glyphosate (e.g. RoundupĀ®, Ranger, Glyphos, Glyphomax, Rodeo, Shyfo, Taifun).

Why?

Glyphosate is a dangerous synthetic plant protection product with harmful and long-lasting effects on the environment. Adversely affects many insect species (e.g. bumble bees).
