Clear-cutting
In order to maintain biodiversity, forest microstructures (e.g. large boulders, stone walls, bogs, springs) are maintained during forest management.
Description of the action
Avoid driving forestry machinery over stone fields and stone fences. If it is technologically necessary to drive over stone fields or stone fences, cover them with logging debris and remove the debris after extraction.
Why?
Special but fragile habitats have formed on stone surfaces. If possible, avoid damaging them.
