1) Understand the role of landowners opportunities for better management methods for biodiversity in agriculture and in forestry.
2) Know the basic concepts of ecological restoration, have an overview of the technologies used in restoration of species, habitats, communities, and different ecosystems, such as semi natural meadows, peatlands, flowing water bodies, lakes, forests, landscape, restoration of mining areas and quarries.
3) Understand the possibilities for evaluation of the effectiveness.
1) Understand the principles of ecological restoration
2) Differentiate among various methods for restoring the forest ecosystem
3) Formulate goals for forest ecosystem restoration and select corresponding activities
4) Understand the consequences of different restoration activities
5) Be able to prepare a restoration plan
6) Know the techniques of assessing an area for biodiversity.
1) Understand how climate change affects land soil biodiversity and humidity conditions
2) Have knowledge how to conduct risk assessment for their own land
3) Have the ability to plan actions to prevent and/or mitigate damage to land
1) Know about the certifications and labels related to nature conservation in their country/area.
2) Know how to choose which certification and label suits their situation.
3) Know the basics of obtaining certification and where to look for detailed instructions.
4) Be aware of the benefits of specific certification labels.
